Zuni fetish carvers Leland Boone and Daphne Quam made this wonderful bear fetish out of Serpentine and is bundled with Turquoise and Spiny Oyster. The Bear is the Guardian fetish of the West, and represents healing and strength. A great addition to your Native American or Zuni fetish collection. (note-there is natural fracturing in the stone)

Zuni fetishes are carvings made from various materials by the Zuni people. Traditionally, fetishes served a ceremonial purpose for their creators and they represented animals and figures that were part of their culture.
