Zuni fetish carver, Peter Gasper made this splendid bear. Hand carved out of Alabaster with Turquoise inlaid eyes and a Turquoise, Mother of Pearl Shell, Coral, and Shell bundle. The bear is considered Guardian of the West by the Zuni, and they represent strength, courage, and healing and protection. Signed
