Description
Navajo sand painting artist, Marlene Doby made this outstanding sand painting. Wonderful colors! Sand paintings are made mainly out of naturally colored sand, that comes from rocks that are crushed. Each color represents a direction and a time of day; Blue- South and Midday Sky, Black-North and Night, Yellow-West and Evening Twilight, White-East and Dawn.
