Hopi Kachina carver, Tyson Nequatewa has been creating kachinas for over 50 years. Over the years, he has won many awards for his work. Tyson expertly carves each kachina out of the root of a cottonwood tree with an amazing amount of detail and precision. Each kachina that Tyson carves, has a highly detailed corn body.
The Mouse Kachina is a hero of the Second Mesa legend. He helped the village to get rid of an unwanted chicken hawk by tricking him into diving into a wooden stake. A wonderful addition to your Native American art or Hopi Kachina collection. Signed
