Description

Beautiful Our Lady of Guadalupe (Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe) Retablo.  She is the patron saint of the Americas, and her image bears the message of love and compassion.  The retablo is hand painted by Santa Fe native, Rhiannon Barela.  Rhiannon is 18 years old and has been a member of Spanish Colonial Arts Society for four years.  She uses watercolors on wood boards that have be prepared with hand made gesso.  They are then sealed with a hand made pine sap varnish.

The retablo measures 3  1/2″ x 5  1/2″
