Description

Description

Hopi Kachina carver, Tyson Nequatewa has been creating kachinas for over 40 years.  Over the years, he has won many awards for his work.   Tyson expertly carves each kachina out of the root of a cottonwood tree with an amazing amount of detail and precision.   Each kachina that Tyson carves, has a highly detailed corn body.

The Eagle Kachina represents strength and power, as he is the ruler of the sky and the messenger to the heavens.  The beauty and  power of this distinguished animal is depicted in Tyson’s carving.  An exquisite addition to your Native American art or Hopi Kachina collection.  Signed
